Bummer hair algae sucks. What are you doing to treat it?
I installed a fuge, ripped out as much as possible each week and fed less. Other than that nothing. The nitrates dropped to zero first, then the phosphates fell and now the algae just doesn't grow back. There are a few patches left but a lot of pure nice LR. (and some majanos)

It's kinda amazing that a fish so small can be healthy enough to be shipped, retailed then reacclimated to it's final destination. That second pic is my favortie, it looks like it is kicking it in high gear!
Wow what a beautiful fish! Tank looks amazing too Bongo. I'm happy you've beaten the HA. Whenever I see someone else battling that stuff I think of my own experience and it makes my stomach flip.
Yeah I had no idea how healthy and hardy he was/is. And by the way he was starting up the hyperdrive in that pic :hypnodisk:.

Thanks! It took sooooo long and it was not easy to get rid of that crap. I'm just glad I didn't have to boil the rock or start over or something. Plus it feels really really good to know that I could beat it. It's a tough one to beat.
Congratulations on winning the battle! Awesome pics it's looking good!
Wow, your tank is just awesome! :D
I have a 29g as well. I've just recently gotten my first corals. Lots of research though.
You have some of the coolest and most unique creatures in your tank. :love3:
Thanks guys!
