Default ETBReefer's 65 Gallon Wrasse Domination Tank

As posted in my 30 gallon thread, the 60 gallon tank cracked a few days ago, so I decided to order a new hand-built tank from Reef Paradise (Thanks Mike!). Equipment as follows:

Display-65 Gallon Breeder by Aquatic America 36x18x24 with black seams

Sump-20 gallon tall with fuge

Lighting-6x39w T5 Fluorescent Fixture with LED moonlights. Sump lit by single CF bulb in a Home Depot clip lamp

Flow- Return: Eheim 1260 submersible pump with split Loc-Line return

Powerheads- 2x Eco Modded Maxi Jet 1200 @ 600 or 1200 GPH depending in impeller.

Overflow- DIY megaflow style black acrylic corner overflow with 1 1/2" Bulkhead and external durso.

Skimmer: Coralife Superskimmer 120 w 1200lph venturi pump

Dosing: Microbacter 7, Calcium/Kalkwasser.

Fish List:

Added from the 30 gallon:
1-Coral Beauty Dwarf Angel Centropyge bispinosa
1-Starry Blenny Salarias ramosus
2-B&W Ocellaris Clowns by Tal Sweet Amphiprion ocellaris var.

To be added after setup:
1x Black Leopard Wrasse (Macropharyngodon negrosensis)
2X McCosker's Wrasse (Male and Female) Paracheilinus mccoskeri
2X Other Misc Fairy Wrasses

Future Plans: successfully keep Leopard wrasse (my first Expert Only fish), Add some collector pieces of coral, upgrade powerheads to an Ecotech Vortech MP40w ES. Upgrade lighting to DIY 48x XP-G 3w LED fixture by Cree w/ Arduino programmable controller.

Sounds nice - looking forward to seeing the wrasses; I've a weakness for McCosker's in particular.

I may also decide to replace the two Misc. Fairy Wrasses on the list with a Hoeven's (known as Melanarus) wrasse and a Vrolik's wrasse.

Yellow and green to choose from! Might as well grab one or 2 of each color!

So far, things sound great!

I saw this, and got to thinking-

Powerheads- 2x Eco Modded Maxi Jet 1200 @ 600 or 1200 GPH depending in impeller.

I have heard that the eco modded maxi jet 1200's can be a bit noisy, and that the 600 and 900 and far better choices for the mod,as far as noise goes. If noise is a concern whatsoever, you might want to look into it! Hope this info helps!

Cant wait to see this tank happen! Its not much different than what i am running.
