30g sump and a temporary skimmer, I am working on getting a better one.

the pump there connects to a UV sterilizer.
the refugium is going to be in the next area filled with golf ball sized rubble and chaeto
and then a Eheim 1262 which is T'd off to return some flow back into the sump.



I got attacked for doing my sump like this but I still am pleased with it.


the last baffle instead of keepingit at 10" I drpped it down, that way evaporation occurs between the refugium AND the last compartment which gives me more flexibility.

I used black vinyl for the back of the tank.

I spent a week designing the rock scaping before the tank arrived.

I used marine epoxy glue.

Reefkeeper Lite with LED notification

Using my Reefkeeper lite, some extra LEDs and power supplies. I programmed the reefkeeper to light up when the heater or the fan turns on.



This way when I am sitting on the couch I can see whats going on with my tank.
