if they are getting fed fine they will not touch the aptasia. its like someone bringing you food everyday... why would you go out and look for food if it is getting delivered lol.

printthread.php?t=7390&pp=40Good catch justin!
I thought I saw a hump on its back, but after closer inspection, the peppermint checks out good! I double checked it against the californica variety, and checks out safe there too!
I can't believe that's a 29g-looks so much bigger. Wonderful tank Jim :)
dang, jim!! that's a spectacular cube set-up!! the layout gives it a ton of dimension.
I hope you like the pink one that I sent with your papaya one. ;]
My experience with peppermint shrimp has been they do not eat full sized aptasia but they gorge on the babies. Shoot them with kalk. The peps clean them up. I always had best luck when I had at least three shrimp in the tank. That might be too many for your nano though.
gooch
Great picture Jim! I love seeing people's pictures that are so great with a "nonSLR" camera. I have an elcheapo point and shoot and every once and a while I do get some great shots. I love those little mini star fish and so do my kids, I love how the small simple things seem to impress them the most. :)
Great, I'm glad that worked out well. ;]
