What does everyone think about the NO3 being that high? Is the cycle finished? November 26th and all the rock is dry. I'm not going to add any fish until after the new year but I'm curious to what happened.
My lights should be here this week. I finally found out where they were. Apparently customs had them and never notified the seller that they needed a valid tax ID number to release them. Once he gave it to them it took seven days for them to get back on the road. They still haven't made it to the seller, he's then going to test them to make sure everything works then it's back on the road to me.
Hopefully I'll have more updates and pics tonight. I just wired the TO last week and I'll run the tests again.
Got my lights today. I put the custom ones up over the planted tank today. The mulitcolor is going over the frag tank Monday hopefully.
Here's some shoots of the FW tank. Sorry I stirred the the tank up so it looks crappy with particles floating around. I'll get some better ones later. Enjoy.... the lights are both set to 100%
Awww man guys my tank looks like ****. I think the cycle just finished. I have been adding approximately 5-7mL of pure liquid Ammonia to the tank about every other day or every 3 days depending on the test result. The nitrites have finally crashed to 0 as per the Elos test I ran. I guess I will be doing a WC and purchasing the CuC this week hopefully for Friday delivery.
Here are some pictures of the mess.
Let me know if I should do something to rid this. I know people have shutdown there tanks over hair but I'm not going to do that. I have read people say to nip it in the but and remove as much as possible and let the CuC do the rest. Others have said let the CuC do it all. I'm just not sure what to do.
What exactly do you want tested I have kits for everything including potassium etc. I was going to run a full shot tomorrow when I got home from work. Not enough time tonight
NO2: 0.00ppm??? (see attached picture)
NO3: Unsure see attached picture
PO4: 0.04ppm
K: 392ppm
I: 0.06
Fe: 0.0ppm
NO2 results that I think are 0 or very close to 0ppm. All colors on the chart are like pastel colors so I'm just not sure. It's orange I know that.
NO3 results I'm real unsure of. I end up with a light green color. Which in no where on the chart. I even did it again to verify and got the exact same thing.
