Those darn LEDs make you learn a new way to take pics! It's been almost 2yrs and I still only get 75% usable pics :(
Thanks Chris !! Picked this up today from knuckles. It's called the bleeding lava chalice. And it is SWEET !!!!! :oldman:

Yes David I stole your picture ! Lol
ooooh, I love it! Beautiful color and texture. Great find!
Very nice add!
I love the monti caps up high in your scape. That gives me an idea... ;)
Thanks Vici' I have been eyeballing that chalice for months ! Just needed a good excuse to spend that much on a single piece ! It took the last open space in the tank ! No more room for coral
Thanks, if you put your Idaho Grape up high like that it will grow like crazy too. Down side is that huge cap sucks the mag up like it's chocolate milk ! Lol
Just some new growth shots. The SPS are really starting to take off!

No calcium reactor. I run BRS two part and run my mag at 1600-1650. I really noticed a spurt in growth when I got the mag up and maintained it that high. I don't want people thinking the mag is miracle grow so I will explain my theory for the faster growth. I believe as many in Europe are saying with this method of doaseing high mag levels prevent the two part from bonding better then the standard 1300+ standard which is allowing the SPS to consume it much easier which in turn allows for faster skeleton formation. I also think the high protein and fat enriched food we make is helping a great deal also. Kinda like homemade steroids. LOL. Thanks for the compliment Chris. I really like your SPS rock also. :oldman:
Although I love SPS I'm totally intimidated by them. I'll be content just looking at your's Chuck :) Beautiful!!

I have not read any study's but see allot on R/C and some of the French forums. Also have some good SPS nuts for friends and they are seeing the same results also. My cap has exploded since doing it!
