    Are you using 90's on your return?

    There are no 90' until it gets under the floor. The pump I am using is a bit overkill so slowing down the flow is ok with me.

    Well just got my bulkhead problem fixed. It is circulating with no leaks. I cannot wait to get everything transferred from one tank to the other

    Glad to hear you got the bulkhead fixed and that its all up and running now!

    Are you running the Barricuda wide open?

    The ballvalve just above the pump is wide open. The bleedoff ones are partial closed. If the bleedoff ones are completely closed its to much power. If they are all the way open then not enough goes upstairs. I hope that answers your questions. You know my setup better than anyone else.

    Default ran some test

    Well I was curious what my chemical reading were after a week of running this system.
    alk=9
    Phosphate=0.2
    nitrate=5
    Calcium=340
    Mag=?
    I do not understand why the calcium is so low. My salinity is at 1.025 and I used new salt. Plus if anyone could post instructions for a Salfarent Mag let me know. My instructions grew legs and walked away. I think I can get this all under control in the next week or so. I know it might be wishful thinking but I will wait as long as I need to. I just want to get couple systems tore down.

    Default update

    Ok I now have my parameters up to where they need to be. I started moving my rock from my 90gal to other 90gal. I have put a few pieces of LR that have softies on them into the new system. Add a few snails and hermits as I find them when moving rock. Tonight I am bringing all my tonga branch upstairs and making my forest. Tomorrow I will move the rest of the rock I need. Then I am going to start dripping fish. The last thing is move rest of corals and epoxy them where I want them.

    This has turned into a longer project than anticipated but the end result is going to be worth it. I will take some more pic once I get the aquascapping the way I want it. I just hope my fish do not get too stressed out.

    I still have to get frag setup finished and the Tunze Ozmolator hooked up. I did get my filter socks on the new system. After all this there will be one more tank in the basement that has to be transferred and torn down.
    I tell you my legs are getting a heck of a workout going up and down the basement stairs. Thanks for looking.

    The fish are not going to be anything new. Just the fish I already have all combined into one tank.
    Tomini tang
    Fu Man Chu lionfish
    Royal gamma
    2 BW saddleback clowns
    firefish
    Watchman goby and pistol shrimp
    psychicdelic goby

    I am not sure if my Randal's goby is still around. I would like to add some flasher wrasses but depends on if I lose any fish during the transfer.
