Nooooooooo I got bad bad Diatoms!! Didn't have em until I turned on the lights. What the heck? I know, find the source. Only things I can think of are, water and lights. I'm using RO water. Haven't done a water change in about 2wks and the water mixes in a bin until I'm ready to use it. Haven't added anything.

I got my preskimmer box today (thank you Heidi) and I thought it wouldn't be to hard putting it in. Obviously I am wrong. It's on but now I have major bubbles coming out of the intake tube inside the fuge. ??

Is the intake pump sucking air? If so lower the box more into the water so that more water flows in faster and now air is sucked into the pump. . . Let me know if that helps

More words of encouragement!! Thanks Sir love it! Yeah I'm about ready for my first coral buy-won't be buying much but it'll be a start
I'm going to add my Tail spot Blenny today I think. He's not a jumper I hope ??
Any who all is good today. Oh yeah, I'm going to hook up my mag350 running some carbon for a few days just to help clean things up, make it purdy for the new corals
