pencil urchin! good deal, they sell them at my LFS occasionally. im pretty sure they dont get very big, and will keep your rock 100% free of GHA. they are great for getting rid of that stuff if you have it. and yes most urchin are most active at night.

Thanks dputt and chort! My friend poidog just posted to me that he thinks it's an Echinometra Viridis. Google image search seems to back it up as well. The wiki page is educational.

Your welcome! FYI-the Pencil Urchin I had just about wiped out all the coralline from my LR and cleaned my glass of it as well. I found him a new home :)

You won't regret it! They're fun to feed. I got that rainbow one with the teal sides from windycityreefs.com. They call them Jade Dragons.

I finally got that Tailspot Blenny I've been wanting. It's a little bigger than I intended, but he seems to have acclimated well. I got him eating Hikari Seaweed Extreme pellets (after they dissolve). The territory he chose is on top of the pillar. I'm really excited about that as no other fish really hang out up there. He found a little hole and stays there most of the time with his little head poking out like a finger puppet. He's also apparently not camera shy. :)
