I just upgraded from a ten gallon regular shaped tank that was sitting on my dresser. I got me a nice wooden stand and a matching 20g tank! The stock I had in the ten was a true perc clown, saved from his abusive spouse in my dad's tank upstairs, a Firefish, my first fish who I named Ignatius, a Yellow Clown Goby, who is probably my favorite fish because he is just sooo interesting! and last, but not least, is my Yellowhead Jawfish, Chompz.
For coral I just have 3 stalks of xenia, and one encrusted frag plug of GSP.
I don't have a fuge, just an in tank filter for up to 30gs. It's also got a fair amount of flow that it redirects right into the tank.
I have terrible lights. That is all. - lol
Once I get my tank back to looking mediocre I'll add some haha.
Today - I got some 28 watt t5s that dwarf my other lights, I'm so excited!!! Can I actually keep LPS in my tank now???
Sounds like a great upgrade and a good start to a reef tank. I would be careful with the bio load tho. Four fish in a 10 gallon is way too much imo....I don't think I would put that many in the 20.
I'm kinda crazy... I like a lot of fish I guess... But I keep on top of my water changes weekly and make sure everything is in line. I hardly think a clown goby even counts as a fish lol, in terms of bioloads at least.
