I finally have time to post my tank build. It's a Marineland 250 deep dimension. Special thanks to my good friend Fabian(carribeanguy) without him I would even have this tank. Many of you know I was suppose to setup a 600 gallon, but family things and just the plain $$$ of it all I decided to go smaller.
I was running a 300 gallon rubbermaid look down, 180 acrylic with a 150 rubbermaid Sump. These are all tied together. My plan was to empty the 300 rubbermaid and put it into the new 250. The 250 is tied into this big system,so no cycle at all!!
As of right now I have a 50 gallon rubbermaid with a section partitioned for a refugium. The system dumps into the refugium first and then the skimmer and return pumps. The skimmer is a SWC 300 cone. Soon it'll be a Bubble King 300 internal. The two 800 watt heaters are in the 150 gallon Sump of the 180. I have two triton 5's as return pumps for the 250 and one triton 5 for the 180.
The lighting as of now are 250 watt MH SE ;ran with Reeffanatic electronic ballasts; on the 180 and two on the 250. The 250 has Lumenarc reflectors and the 180 has spider reflectors. I'm working on getting some LED's for actinics and moon lights. For water movement in the 250 I have 2 Vortech MP 40's

It was fun getting the 250 to it's new home with the 300 rubbermaid in the way.
