I do have the advantage of being very picky now, and not so subject to the "I NEED IT NOW" that most fall into when starting out.
I spent an hour trying to decide between dry tonga, and dry BRS reef rock... WHO DOES THAT? LOL!
well good luck,i rember what ya told me and seems your doing the same thing.I took a year decieding what to do and how to do it before setting up my 150..Bad part is I changed half of it in the following year after. LOL Only in reefing will be following along for sure lmk if you need some sticks when your ready
Thanks for the offer, I am sure I will hit you up when I am ready.
OK, did a little inventory, and I found TWO Icecap 660 ballasts! I am sure that at least one of them is in need of repair, I think the other may have been my spare, but I am unsure. I hope IceCap is still around, or someone is at least repairing the ballasts right?
I also found a MAG5, a Korallia 4 (I think) and a couple other heaters... I also found the boxes for my 2 MP40's, that made me sad.
I have a rubbermaid running with water/vinegar and all the pumps heaters in there to get cleaned up like new. Next will be to clean the 30L that was my top sump, which will become my main sump I think.
Thanks thepanfish, that was my old tank, it came down in Feb 09.

Thanks Barb, I am too.
Waiting on some prices to come back from Reef Paradise on a 36x18x22 tank, and some Bulk Reef Supply Eco rock.
I "found" 2 boxes of Sea Chem Gray Coast in my garage, so I am all set on the substrate as well. I am not doing a DSB, but a shallow one this time, less then 2" for sure.
I went with a shallow sand bed also.luv it!! Wrasses did some rescapeing for beds but other then that I have been very happy with the less sand.with two mp40 and two mp10 the last thing I need is allott of sand. Lol. You still doing the photo's ? If so pm me I would be intrested in a real shoot for one year mark of my 150.if you need some rock I have about 75 # laying around I will never use ! Lmk. Free!
