My view from standing in front of the tank, at my usual viewing angle. I am pretty happy with this so far, I can't wait to get more consistent growth.

Sure thing Tom! I'll make sure you get a nice frag.
That was a special Duncan :(
A quick documentation post, I changed the PhosGuard and Carbon, yesterday. I also removed the filter pad from the return chamber.
Tank observations are good, everything is growing well, mostly encrusting. Zoa's are paly's are ever expanding. I talked with Marc from Melev's Reef, and my "chambers" are scheduled for delivery this week. I am going to round up the fittings that I expect I will need to make one into a Kalk reactor, and the other into a CaRX.
Poseidon-Please keep me in mind if you ever frag the Garf Bonsai from BB...I'd love to have a coral of his growing in my tank...I miss him :)
Wow Mike, I can't believe how much your corals have grown. It is really filling in. It is beautiful.
Thanks Vicki!
Documentation post- Water change completed this past Saturday.
Things to come post- New containers coming from MelevsReef, one will be a Kalk reactor, the other a Ca Reactor. I will be doing the Kalk first, with the Ca Reactor coming a bit later.
Started the build on my reactors. I finished the top of the Kalk reactor , drilled 8 holes, and then 2 more larger ones and tapped them both. Tightened it all up, and decided to clean up the sharpie marker marks with some rubbing alcohol. BAD PLAN. The alcohol worked its way in the holes, and started to crack the top. DOH!!! The top was all good until I started to clean it up, I had no idea that the rubbing alcohol would cause such damage.
Time to get another 7x7x.25" piece of acrylic.
Bummer!
Progress is being made, I used the lid from the other reactor to have one good one. Drill 2 holes for the Uni Seals, and I can't seem to create a good seal. :(
I applied a VERY thin layer of black silicone to the uni-seal, I'll let that dry, and see what happens tomorrow.
