    Default Stock Tank Build

Let me start by saying I am glad to have found this forum, I've already learned more here in a day than I have the last 6 months on my local forum, and that was just reading threads. I am currently in the proses of setting up an online store and now find that I have to distance myself from any clubs I plan on sponsoring. Not that I wouldn't want to sponsor here, but I need a place where I can be me still, and seek guidance when I need it. I have decided that this is that place. I'd like to welcome you all to join me as I set up my stock tank and move into the next level of this wonderful hobby.

To start the thread off, I'll list the equipment we have so far.
    Bottom
For the tanks we are using a 55gal as sump
    mid row
    will be 2x20longs
    and top row
    is 4x 10gal

Lighting will be a dual 400 watt halide 400 watts per row

Return pump is a Mag-Drive Supreme 9.5 and I'll be backing it up flow wise w/ some power heads until I can afford a better pump.

Here is the skimmer not sure what type

The stand will be built this week hopefully, and filled w/ water and rock, by mid Nov.

Hopefully that will be soon. I just spent the last week getting nipped aggressively by my clowns, and have decided that they are moving into one of the 10gals on the stock system. I've always loved having them in my reef, but I can't get any maintenance done since they laid their first clutch.

I managed to get the wood for the stand here, and that will be built Thurs.

Now we are running the skimmer in vinegar and next the plumbing, the part all the DIY'ers are waiting for.

X-mass kind of slowed us down, and we are trying to plumb 5 tanks together. We got most the plumbing done, and will finish this next week. I realize it has been slow.
