Tazzy's new adventure

well i got some new much needed upgrade on my lighting picked up a coralife 250w x2 mh light with cf actinic bulbs stilll thinking of moding the cf and converting to t5 ho not sure if i can use the same balast or if i need to upgrade ballast

well haven't updated in a while but tank is doing great loving the mh lighting seeing excellent growth with corals

curent stock list for fish is

4x bg chromis
2x chocolate clowns
1x royal dottyback
1x coral beauty
1x purple dottyback
1x sailfin tang
fish to be added yet are
1x blue hippo tang
1x algae blenny

i also have these inverts

1x very large long spine urchin
1x cleaner shrimp
many blue leg hermits

[emoji53][emoji53]grrrrrrrrrr one of my ballasts for the mh is dying starts buzzing after it gets warm

So it is turned off for now till i can replace it i dont need a fire

Ok well i took the ballast apart and put back together couldnt find a problem but also haven't heard the buzzing sound

On a side note i never put snails of any kind in my system but tonight i find a half dosen baby ones on the glass

More then likely they are Collonista Snails. Nocturnal lil hitchhiking algae eaters. [emoji1360]

well add new residents still trying to get a blue hippo tang but added 2 bangi cardnals unfortunately lost one and also a second cleaner shrimp
