    Talking Tommyb's 240 In Wall 2.0

Here is my second attempt at this 240 in wall. I might dig up some old pics to show my first attempt.

The first time I had several problems:

    1) Closed loop kept leaking and so did the drains and returns. This time I plugged all of the CL holes and redid the drains and returns and supported them better.

    2) Ich. Almost all of my fish came from one person's system and they were ok in there and it would not have been possible to QT them so I dumped them in. Every fish will be in a QT before going in the main tank.

    3) Scratching the acrylic. I removed the sand this time and so far it is better.

    Current set up:
240 Acrylic 8'x2'x2' with dual corner overflows
    75 gallon sump
    Euroreef CS 8-4 Skimmer
2 Koralia 3's (Replacing these when I get enough $ for Vortechs)
    2 Koralia 4's
    2 300 watt heaters
    6 stage RODI
    Easy water change system
Gen x return pump 1200 gph
4 bulb T5 retro (this is something I have to work on, it is only lighting 6' of the tank right now)

    Fish:
    2 Yellow Tangs
    2 Purple Tangs
    Blue Hippo Tang
    Desjardini Sailfin Tang
    "Regular" Sailf Tang
    Vlamingi Tang
    Pair of Occy Clowns
Pair of Picasso Clowns (from fishtal)
    Coral Beauty Angelfish
    Adult Queen Angelfish
    Royal Gramma
    Yellow Watchman Goby
    Purple Pseudochromis (sp?)
    Bicolor Blenny
3 blue with yellow tail damsels
    1 Lemon Damsel
    1 Velvet Damsel

    Inverts:
    2 Cleaner Shrimp
    3 Peppermint Shrimp
    Starfish
    2 GBTAs
    Snails/ Hermits

    Corals:
    Anthelia
    Shrooms
    GSP

Here are some pics from today after I did some aquascaping:

Not bad Leaky, I mean Tommy!! I actually really like a tank that has some shadows and dark spots. Only problem is I didn't see a single wrasse mentioned in the original post! here's to keeping this one dry!!

Thanks guys. I don't think I have ever owned a Wrasse. They are pretty cool but they just aren't for me. I like big Angels and Tangs. My next 3 fish are going to be a Naso, Emporer Angel and a Blue Face but those are going to have to wait awhile.

GO GREEN!!!! I would never disgrace my bar are with Maize and Blue, that is just disgusting. It should be a good game though this year. Most polls have them pretty even.

I love the in-wall tanks, your tank looks real nice.
But I did notice that huge green and white Fartin' smudge above the tank, it's very distracting... I mean Spartan .. haha ...LOL

LMAO.........Tommy if your looking for a Naso please go rescue the gorgeous male they have at Greenwoods in a WAY too small 80 gallon. Thing has tail streamers at least 3 inches long, it's a shame it can't even swim in the thing.

the tank is looking great! Ever consider a Tomini or orange shoulder tang?? I love both of mine. The orange shoulder is the best algae eater in the tank and very peaceful as far as tangs go. The tomini is a good cleaner as well and I love the splash of orange...
