    Default Contest - Fally

I would like to enter the Captive Reefing 2007 Nano Contest.

I picked up the tank, sand, and a piece of rock yesterday. I got the tank and sand at PetCo because I liked the oak trim tank. The piece of dead rock I got from the Kennel Shop and it was 2.5 pounds.

    Tank - $15
    Sand - $8
    Rock - $5

Here is the required shot of the dry tank and special items:

I am planning on using a 10 gallon sump in this setup. I placed a couple of orders on eBay today. I needed a 1 inch bulkhead and a 45mm diamond hole saw bit.

For some reason photobucket isn't allowing me to upload images, so I used my free webhost. They don't let me link to images, so I'll figure this out and edit my first post...

Fixed! I was using a progressive compression on the jpg and that was messing with photobucket.

You should be able to upload them on here (in our image resizer) and then save it too you harddrive and then upload it. You want to click the Managing Attachments and a pop up should pop up and you can load it there. Hope that made sense.

Joe, enter anyhows! Even if you can only squeeze in 30 mins a week for the first couple three months that's all it will take to get things started.... I'll get my pic taken and posted this weekend.... that will buy me 30 days to at least get started on things.

I am still waiting on my two eBay orders to arrive. Over the long weekend I did a little DIYing of an old hood to make something to go over the 10 Gallon. I had a 4x65watt PC fixture kicking around and thought it would be neat to cut it down.

    *WARNING*
The following process is dangerous and should only be attempted by a professional.
I'm sure it also voids the warranty.

The feet I had for the fixture were broken after being in storage for several months. The LFS up the road has spares for sale so I'll run up there at some point this week.

    More to come!
