IMO having the required frag pack is great, because then you can also see the growth from tank to tank on similar pieces....

this is the only contest that i have EVER seen that has had a frag pack
all the other contest are fine without
there is only a 150$ limit so its not like someone is gonna have tons of money for corals anyways -
