    Default Adding clam

In a few weeks (after I complete setting the acropora in place) I am going to get a few clams for the aquarium. I am going today to buy a six-line (I hope from the FD in ypsi) to be ahead of the pest game. For cleaners I have mostly snails and a few hermits. I know I have plenty of light for them. O am going the MAxima route because I like the shell and colors of these clams. Eventaully I might geta lime squamosa though.

Hey Mike from past experiences make sure you don't have any of those humongo size nassy snails also sometime called silly snails. I had a guy that was about two maybe three inches long, smoke two clams in one day.
Im looking to add two more clams very soon as well. Maybe we can find a web site or something and get a large volume discount???!!

Its been a while, but I got several clams from Clamsdirect in the past and was very happy. Berry knows his stuff. Fish Doctors had a very nice derasa at the swap with circles on the mantle. I wanted it but decided I best wait and not add too much to my tank at once. Someone did buy it though. It was cool, never saw a derase with pattersn like that.

I just got back from FD and got the sixline. I am going to put him in and let him clean house before I add any cleams.
