any guesses

i got a question!...i found a new starfish in my tank that i did not buy. it looks like a sand sifter but the last one of those that i had was about a year ago. I didn't add any new rocks to the tank. where did this guy come from?

How big is he? Maybe he's just now gotten big enough for you to see?

he's about the size of a thumb tack head.

He could have came out of the rock, as things multiply you will see more of them. So you may have gotten 1 or 2 on your last batch of rock and this is just the first one you have seen.

i wouldn't have a problem with the fact that it came out of the rock if i would have added new rock....its been a real long time since i added any rock

my tank was up for a 1 year now and befor i added more rock recently we found 2 about pinky finger nail size my little girl pointed them out to me .... and i look at the tank all the time and never saw them
