Default arrow crab and cleaner shrimp

#ed_op#DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#SPAN class=postbody#ed_cl#I know it is not smart to have two arrow crabs unless you have a very large tank but what about other invertebrates? I really like the look of the arrow crab but was also interested in maybe two cleaner shrimp. Does the arrow crab pose a treat to anything other than another arrow crab? #ed_op#/SPAN#ed_cl##ed_op#SPAN class=gensmall#ed_cl##ed_op#/SPAN#ed_cl##ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl#

Actually yes, we had one that had a voracious appetite for hermit crabs. Also used to think he could whoop up on a coral banded shrimp.... ultimately I think the CBS whacked him after 6 months.

But when he wasn't messing with other critters he was a great cleaner, he loved diatoms and stuff. Think they prey on smaller fish too.

arrow crabs are a gamble. they prey on other inverts and if given the chance will take them out. they are also not recomended in tanks under 100 gallons. if you want some neat inverts you can do cleaner shrimp or peppermint shrimp and as far as crabs you can do anenome crabs they are allways fun or porcelin crabs.
