weird crab death.

so my sally light foot died and was eaten ( mostly) by my starfish. but i dont know what could cause it.
maybe im just being paranoid but is there anything else i should look for or do to stop a possible crash? my be it was just old age but i had only had it a year. i guess i just hope someone can help.

do a water test and post the results asap. are you sure it was himself and not his molted shell? he possibly could of just died and usually when they are on their outs the starfish and hermits will be all over them to take care of the dirty work.

I doubt your headed for a crash, starfish are generally more sensitive than crabs.

yeah i ran out of my test kits but the lfs said i was fine. my crab probably freaked me out. from what i gather sally light foots are short lived. and no it was him. hes gone.
