I have no fear of losing my life - if I have to save a koala or a crocodile or a kangaroo or a snake, mate, I will save it.

Not at all true. If they get eaten, caught in a pump or meet some other not so nice way of dying the can release their poison. My tank is set up for keeping these guys. I feed every hour a mixture of reeds shellfish diet along with various Fauna Marin foods. It is all automatic so they get fed every hour on the hour.

In addition there are no pumps anywhere near them. Lastly if the worse were to happen they only kill fish. I really no longer have a great amount of fish in the tank.

I have enjoyed several sea apples over the years of reefkeeping and never had an issue with them dying or causing issues in my tanks.

It's odd this post came up, I have recently been considering acquiring another one and I am visit friends in Virginia. I just stopped by a LFS in saw one yesterday

It is just one of those things that can happen. My tank is perfect for them as it is fed a mixture of Fauna Marin foods and Phyto every hour. My powerheads are protected and I have very few fish. I have one that I have had for two years now but have always wanted a Royal. They are so rare in the States!!

Ha ha, hmm new name for my tank? This will be my forth if you count my Spiny Sea Cucumber which is in the same class. The rescue you gave me is doing really well. All of his tenticals are now an inch long and he feeds constantly. Just wait until I get that Royal Apple on my big wall. That will add some color!
