What is that considered? A fish, invert, anemone, coral, etc etc.

a nudibranch is a shell less snail in the order Nudibranchia, with four suborders based on differences in the animals anatomy and physiology.

yeah they are neat. I have seen like 5 of them gang up on one aptasia. they are ruthless little guys. I have seen 7 of them wipe out aptasia in a 125 gallon in less than a month and a half.

How exactly does aptasia form in a tank? Is it carried in on the LR?

yeah its comes in as a hitchhiker. the bad things about it is that it packs a pretty good sting and can literally kill your other corals. And they spread like wild fire.

yeah they are completly reef safe. they are considered a slug so yes they would be considered an invertabrate since they lack a skeletal structure
