I don't know about the tank size (so I won't comment) but I do have both those critters in my 68 gallon tank. They do fine together. The blood shrimp tends to hide in the darker caves of my tank. Coming out from time to time to get food or to clean a fish.

I have a Blood Shrimp and very rarely ever see it. While they look cool, mine hides so much that I feel it was not worth the money spent.
