clam under pc
if anyone has a clam under pc lighting alone can u pls msg me with the species and placement in the tank mabey a picture would help to? thx

I did it with a T. crocea for 2 years in my 55 placed at the top of the rock work and a T. squamosa on the sand bed in the same system.
There's nowhere else I'ld rather be... unless, of course, you're buying

I had a T. maxima in my 29g under 165w of PC lighting (3 55w bulbs) for two years. The clam was on the substrate.

so what kind of clam would like 384 watts of pc's

That isn't really a fair question, because all 384w aren't over the clam. If your tank is 4' long, than you really have 192w of light over where the clam is, and what needs to be considered is how tall the tank is due to how light levels (PAR) decrease for every inch it has to penetrate.
Derasa clams are usually something that will do well under VHO and PC lighting, because they aren't too light demanding.

my tank is a standard size 75 gal. so derasa is a good canidate
