Default crabs vs blenny

I have some green hair algae growing again, so far not bad though.
I was wondering if anyone had thoughts on what would be the best for this, adding $20 worth of crabs or a lawnmower blenny. I have got mixed opinions at the lfs.

I think a lawn mower blennie is the way to go. They are great fish.

I second the blenny, they are algae eating machines. and they have soooo much personality. make up for their ugly troll like face. I love mine to death. he is a ham allways perching for pics.

thanks everyone, I am leaning towards the blenny from the results of the thread. One other thought would be adding a Foxface lo. I have been told they are excellent at eating hair algea. Any thoughts?

The blenny is a tried and true method of algae control.... no personal experience with the fox faces, not sure they'd be as entertaining either.

fox face is not half the algae eater as the blenny, and if I am not mistaken the foxface is toxic too. the spines pack a punch if memory serves. and the personality of the blenny is second to none.

you are correct about the foxface being toxic and venomous. although i have not seen proof that it will destroy a tank (like the rumors state, as with the insane looking cowfish).

but personally, you just cant beat a lawnmower blenny !!
