    Default Feather (bit the) Duster

Tonight, I come home from work, and I see odd brown stuff in my Torch coral. Turns out to be the "foliage" off my feather duster. And no worm to be found. The tube, which was about 7"-8" long, was empty.

Any chance the worm is setting up a new home somewhere? Or does that just help to explain why the fish weren't too hungry tonight?

The past couple I have kept have been pretty tough. I thought I lost one of mine when it jettisoned it's "crown" and evacuated its tube. But eventually I found it had rebuilt in a another location. It slowly grew its crown back too.

Cool, I hope that is the case with this one. Been one of my longest tenured residents...

It's a Festivus miracle! New crown sited last night, already opening maybe an inch and a half across. Life (in the tank) is good...

You can kill them? Honestly, it's probably been the least fretted over critter in the tank. And, it is fun to watch, as well.

I had a coco worm once. But I didn't know back then what I know now. Like how they need an established tank
