Flatworm Exit works great - Just follow the directions precisely.

flatworm exit will take care of it. Follow the instructions on the bottle and you should be good. Shut off your phosphate reactor if you have one.
Ok it says that I'll need to siphon them out right away at they're toxic. However they're mostly on the glass at the moment. When they die they'll be floating around the tank. How will I get them out?
p.s. Just ordered some Flatworm Exit..

Best to try and siphon out as many as possible. As you don't have a large infestation, I wouldn't worry about it. I've used FWE without any significant siphoning numerous times without issue. Just a few drops and they begin writhing and dying within seconds.
I use GAC immediately after the last of the buggers are dead and do a regular water change - Easy

Just cause I want to know....
What do they look like (flatworms) anyone got a picture?
What do they kill/eat/infest?
Just wanting to know so I can always be on the look out for problems long before they start.
Thanks

I'd like to mention too that not all flatworms are equal, and most don't need to be nuked. As far as I can tell, it is mostly the larger acoel variety as pictured above that are the main issue (and acro eating FW's).
I had some smaller tan FW's and got all excited and FWE'd my tank, it killed a lot but didn't knock them out. They rebounded a bit, but now I don't see any anymore. Wasn't worth the money or the effort.
I've also seen 2 other types in there (the ghosties at night and one other type).
Thankfully my fears have been put to rest Mine are the copod eating ones and I've no need to worry about them. Unless of course they become a pain quantity wise.
