A couple years ago, I grabbed a single Mini Maxi from Deb at a swap. Today I've got dozens. I've noticed a couple of few things about them (at least those in my tanks)...
- They don't like bright light. A few hours of increased PAR and they find a place to hide.
- They move a lot - I've got some that come to the top of a rock shelf overnight, but spend the days on the bottom, hiding from the mid-day PAR.
- They are as tough as nails - I've hacked, cut and torn them off everything from live rock, to the sides of clam shells. Even when appearing to me mutilated and destroyed, they bounce right back.
I wouldn't be afraid the move any of them. Grab a knife and scrape it off the attachment point - then put it anywhere you like. I created a little nursery for them from the bottom 2" of a 2 liter pop bottle partially filled with aragonite (similar to a Ric nursery) so I can keep them confined in a frag tank. Feed em LPS
pellets and them go...they multiply so fast, they should be called "Tribbles"
