    Angry Grrr!!!!

Well I was at my new fav lfs yesterday and picked up a very cool active lettuce nudi. Was doing great and all of a sudden it got wisped off the glass and into the power head (k1 or the k nano). No more lettuce nudi! Grrrrrr!!!!!!!!!

dang sorry for your loss that is one of the major risks of nudis

one way to prevent them from getting sucked through a power-head is to wrap them in a thin sponge
I have been reefing from 08-2007 till 5-2011

reef tanks are like wifes you have to give them some attention every now and then

Really? Will the power head heat up or work harder and burn out?

nope wont hurt the power-head you just might loose a tiny bit of flow

if I remember corectly someone even makes sponge material to go around a korilia power-head

but if you cant find it

I use this if I ever have to protect somthing like that

or similar sponge material like that

with your korilia just wrap it around the outside and use 2 or 3 or more if needed rubber bands to hold it on the pump
