    Default ID needed

    Here are a new pics of the slug I posted about a month ago. I still can not ID it. I "thought"aybe it was a baby lettuce nudibranch, but it doesn't look like it anymore. There arn't any corals in this tank and it's growing, so it must eat macros. other algae, mysis, or sand bed critters. There isn't anything else in the seahorse tank.

    Greg, did that guy come out of your tank???? Any info on them, I have never even heard of them before.
    Does water always taste like salt and poo????

    they have a huge appetite for caulerpa. a single slug will outpace the regrowth of caulerpa and quickly dessimate it. they are aggressive macro eaters. but they sure are cool :D

    it very well could, they are pretty small and when they are in the macro very very hard to see. You can actually see them take a bite into the macro and see the macro start to bleed out.

    Please keep us up to date on how he does and how much he eats. I don't know why but this guy has really caught my attention.
