    Default Key hermit crab?

I came across some hermits the store was calling key red leg hermits. They are not typical red leg hermits. They are a very pale red. LFS said they would eat algea. I usually dislike hermits but I said what the heck. These guys are great. They are polishing rock. They leave the coraline but eat everything else. The store also stated they will eat nori stips after the algea is gone. Any one have exp with these guys. I tried looking them up but no luck. Maybe by another name. I got them sat and there is a huge difference already. Never had a member of my cuc work this well or fast. Oh yeah and very delicate so far around my zoas or other corals. So far.

Heres a pic of the work they have done since sat. There are 2 hermits in the pic. I know you can barely see them.

I wonder if those are the same hermits I have seen called Mexican Red leg hermits...not as red as the scarlets.

Nice picture of your algae blenny and yellow clown goby!

Well i just googled the mexican red leg hermit and i dont think thats it. They are still very small so maybe the color will change as they grow, but the pics dont match mine. Any more possible names. Ill try to get a pic of one in a bowl tomorrow. Maybe we can get a match that way.
