Default Life span of a Peppermint Shrimp?

Anyone have an idea of how long a peppermint shrimp lives? I've had mine for about 5-6 months now~no telling how long the previous owner had her~but she died some time during the night~I saw her yesterday morning out en about during feeding time~but she wasn't as vigorous as usual.

My emerald crab also died a couple of days ago~two days after I got her~I'm hoping nothings going on in my tank~I've done nothing different.

It's not molt this I know for sure.

Ya think a large hungry Bristle worm would have killed her?
