    Default long tip anemone

ive had a long tip for over a year now and it's always done great. It host two clowns who feed it. two days ago I noticed it completely closed and in the sand. I didn't really think anything of it till today. Its still closed but now it looks like a few tips have come off! should I be worried? If so what should I do?

update: it has detached it's self and looks like a small ball. The flesh does not appear to be falling apart, but I have seen a few small bits of the tip floating around.

try putting it in a flower pot, just for now. its not going to open until it attaches to something, if you can get it to open you should feed it.

I didn't make it. Any idea what could have caused it to suddenly die? I had it for a year and it was open all the time.
