Well I found my Yellowtail Fang Blenny. Or should I say what's left of it. Sitting here watching my tank, hoping to see her pop up some where and yup she sure did. What was left of her 1 of my Maxi Mini's was spitting out. I was able to identify her by what was left of her skull, eye sockets, mouth and some bones from her fins. Otherwise that's all that was left.
So to anyone who think Maxi Mini's don't/wont eat fish. Given the chance, oh yeah they do!!! The fish never went near them but she must have gotten spooked and bumped into it. That's all it took
I'm not surprised! They are extremely "sticky" and close up really fast. When I feed them raw shrimp, they are latch on tight and pull them in very quickly. I imagine that they would do the same with any fish that accidentally came in contact with them.
