Default need opinions on getting a clam

ok so i want to get a clam for my 3.5gal pico with LEDs
i know that the clam will eventuly ( and quickly ) become to large for this tank
which is ok because i have a 20gal long that it will go into
the reason why i want to put a clam into the 3.5gal is for a contest
so when the contest is over ( in 3 months ) i can move it to my "bigger" reef

the clam i found that i want is a crocea
as seen here ( a little down the page ) http://www.michiganreefers.com/forum...ap-sooner.html
those 3 are 40$ and about 3-4"

so i just want your opinon on getting one in this tank and what things i need to watch out for if i can get one

thanks for your help
Ryan

Would not do it...clams require very stable water parameters that can be difficult to maintain in very small aquariums

If the thing does croak it could crash your tank if not removed quickly being such a small tank.

But as for for growth, IME they are slow growers.
