    Default Neomeris annulata

    I did some research and found out that this is a calcium based algae. I guess its pretty harmless. I have no idea how I got it, it just popped up. Has anyone else dealt with these guys before? They don't bother me as long as they are harmless. They are kinda cool looking.

    I've had that pop up before in my tank before.....seems to go away after a while.

    that is very unique, i wish i could get my hands on some for my macro algae tank. did you end up letting it grow out?

    They are still growing in the same area. I have about 20 of them popping up

    I've got 2 sprouting up right now on a peice of maricultured rock from Terra Sub Aqua. They are very cool I think.

    well maybe we can meet up at a swap one day and i can snag a small piece from you guys. i have a tank dedicated to SW macros and would love to add it to my collection one day.
