    yeah he's about 2". not sure how fast they grow sence this is my first clam.

    They can be pretty rapid... monitor your ca and alk... these are essential for growth. At his size, I recommend direct feeding(place a bottomless clear 2 liter soda bottle over the clam and inject some phytoplankton into the bottle over the clam and let it remain until the water clears). I love the 3 clams I have... they really seem to add an awesome diversity to the captive reef.

    Those are some nice clams,I wish i could have a baby maxima but i cant find a local source for live phyto/DT's

    I have some clams whose musculs are black and white spots. They happend to be on some live rock when i got it. A nice size...about 3 inches across. also have a rocl with tons of little ones on it..... Any idea what kinda they could be? I have had them for a long time and no-one can seem to identify them. Ill post a pic tomarrow.

    Nisei i wont one plain to get one next Trip to north west AR. that is weir the
    best LFS or located in AR I'm about 2 hours from there in north Central
