yeah i really like mantis but angler does sound fun. i've had a mantis before thought but have no had an angler. i was thinking of possibly getting an angler and a small snowflake eel but the eels get to big for a 29g so im not sure. i just want a predator that will eat live things for something fun. good part of an angler and snowflake as well is both you only have to feed 2-3 times per week and they eat the same live fish or silversides so that would be pretty cool. i am pretty undecided with what i want right now so help make up my mind lol

I think a dwarf lion would be a real neat addition with an angler, or a snowflake eel ( for awhile). Only annoying thing I can think of with having a dwarf Lion of some sort with the angler would be getting the Lion not to eat everything before the angler can get his share

Leaf fish would work well. Id stay away from the lion fish, as fu's tend to die, and dwarfs will out compete the angler for food.

The angler will almost certainly try to eat the mantis. He might not be able to get hold of it, mantis are lightning quick, but he'll likely try. Anglers will try to eat things so big the meal actually kills them.
