    Default Pinched Mantle NEED HELP

Anyone have any pics of what a clam with a pinched mantle looks like??

Also the recommended cure is a pH and temp balanced fresh water dip, right?
    Five minutes or so.........?

No photos personally but a Google images search for "pinched mantle" has some good examples.

As for treatment and diagnosis... I suggest visiting the forums on clamsdirect.com. They have been very helpful for me in the past.

I once found a link to a video with Barry from Clams direct on it. On there he had a picture of pinched mantle. Basically part of the clam doesn't extend the mantle all the way.
