    Well he must have been very very grateful and told his 2 other buddies about it~ because when I got up this morning they had cleared about a 4x8" piece of rock that was covered in algae. Seriously, the rock was almost completely white

    Snails can survive out of water for up to 2 weeks.

    Don't forget how they are exposed to low tide everyday.
