    Default Seaweed / sea grass

I'm interested in planting a portion of my 300g lagoon with sea grass. I'd like to try a reef wall along with the sandy bottom and "grass". Any suggestions on what type I should look for, along with general info would be appreciated.

i have a grass that looks something like turtle grass, it came in as a htich hiker on another one of my algae. its looks like your typical grass. i liked enough to let it keep growing, maybe look for something along those lines. or i can possibly set you up with some.

I've been interested in seagrass for quite sometime and have done a little research on it. THIS is a good read.

If I could find some available I would probably try a Halophila spp.. The others are just too tall for my tank.

Good luck and keep us posted with how it goes.

Thanks for the info... it's a slow / long-term project, so I'll let you know how it goes. I just need to be able to stick my arms in the tank without them be gnawed on by my vlamingi tang and orbiculate batfish, and those nasty little clowns!
