    Default Spaghetti worms

My tank has an over abundance of these little worms. Is there such a thing as too much. Does any type of fish eat them, just to control it abit. Some of these are getting abit big. I had heard that they are like earthworms in the soil. Constantly moving and keeping stuff from settling in your sand or crushed coral base. So on that theory you would say they are ok. But I would like someone else's opinion.

From the info I have gathered about them they are great to have. Like you said they keep the sand stired up, they eat up poop and uneaten food, they are great little guys. I am not sure if anything eats them, though I'm sure something will, but from my experance you want them.

now are you talking spaghetti or bristle worms. spaghetti worms are pretty small and would not think they would stir up sand, they actually build a little sand shell around them and usually stay in one place. but if it is spaghetti worms then a copperband is good so is a 6 line wrasse.

You are describing a spaghetti worm to my knowledge. You probably don't have too many. Are they out all the time or mainly when you stir up the tank or feed?

Butterfly fishes will eat them and any fan worms you have too. If you like your worm life don't get a butterfly fish they clean out all the worms quickly!

The first time I saw spaghetti worms my first thought was eeeeyyywwww! They are harmless no matter what number you have.

LOL jojo look lower in the picture. The pink wigglers are what Crawdad's talking about I think. They look like bristle worms but they do look like they are attached to some kind of tube. I now have no clue what those thngs are....sorry.
