I sure dont but they are really cool. I wouldnt mind a few of them in my tank.
look kinda kewl
Yeah, they are attractive, but I won't order any unless I can get more detailed information. The vague description on the selling site just won't do for me, however interested I may be.
Really vague description is right. Don't think I have seen that variety around in the trade. Not sure where they would fall in relation to they label Queen or Fighting conch, we've kept those, they grow fast and were total eating machines!
If you find anything more about them let us know.
Every electronic device is manufactured with smoke stored deep inside... only a true genius can find a way to set it free.
yeah I have 2 queen conch's and they are HUGE I would like to throw a couple of these into the mix. yeah curious to know what you find outon them
So far the hunt has proved fruitless... still looking, though.

Found this
The "Red-Foots" may eat your snails. I'd also be concerned about them chewing on a sleeping Seahorse.

Yes, that was one of the handful of pages I'd found so far. The page was interesting, but unfortunately, it didn't provide the information I am looking for.
The piece you quoted above lists the family "Buccinidae", but the link I provided above (where I originally found this snail) lists the family as "Fasciolariidae"?
I appreciate the link you shared from the seahorse forum... I'm glad to see that several people have kept the snails in question without issue (other than them being on the lazy side!). I had a whelk in my 20g earlier this year; thank goodness I was able to get him out before he did too much damage!
