    Default Urchin sting

    Working in the tank today and got to close to the Urchin (blacj long spine). Freaking got stung on teh thumb!!! It hurt like you know what. I am actually a little nauseated too from it. Anyone else ever been hit??[coverattach=1]

    Never experianced an urchin sting. Hope it doesnt hurt for long!

    It's been a few hours and it is finally settling down. I will look out from now on for him when I put my hands in the tank.

    Glad you're feeling better! I suppose you don't wear gloves when working in your tank? I don't... me + gloves = bull in a china shop a.k.a. busted up tank, LOL!

    ^ same here! Gloves are a great idea, but for the most part do equal a bull in a china shop...

    gloves would not have done much in this case unless they were way thick. I am feeling better now Thanks guys
