I've been wanting an anemone for a while now. Have done a lot of research and have asked many for their opinions. What I want to know is why do those who tell me that nems are such a pain are the same people who are buying them? I've been told not to buy one and the same person who tells me this turns around an buys one. WTH? Sorry but this behavior just confuses the heck outta me.
Frankly they are a pain in the butt... but still pretty cool.
My 6-inch RBTA went through the vortech Tuesday morning...the green BTA suffered a similar fate a few weeks before that. Lately when they aren't committing anemone suicide, they are committing anemone homicide...the last 3 fish I added to my tank lasted one night and where never seen again. While they wander around looking for a pump to crawl into they sting and irritate every coral in their path. Even my maxi minis are wandering around the tank...although they haven't figured out they can end it all in a power head yet.
It might be a good way to get that angelfish out of your tank though... :fish:

lmao! The minute you said: " committing anemone homicide" that was the first thing I though of. I feel awefull~NOT! I don't have any vortech to worry about and I don't think one could make it into my Korilia's. Couldn't I just super glue it in place?
