    Default The worlds second oldest fossils. Trust me youll like it.

    So im driving through the UP and being a bit of a geology hobbyist i stopped just to see the worlds second oldest fossil. Its 3 billion year old cyanobacteria..... Yeah im sure many of you are glad to see that its dead but me and my dad sure got a kick out of it. Heres some pics. Its the black ridges in tje firat one. The later ones are pics of very large samples of it. Mostly what you see in those are the fossilized oxygen bubbles the cyano created.
