We ship frags around using any of the soup type (wide mouth) thermos's, they can be had for a few bucks, or a few more if you want it to say Campbells or something on it. They fit just right in the USPS shipping boxes. When the weather is not freezing or boiling hot they will hold enough temps long enough to ship Priority USPS, 2-3 day delivery to most anywhere in the US for around $5-6. I think out of about 20 shipments only one was reported not to arrive in great shape. We sent one to Repto and somehow the thermos got crushed or something and lost a lot of the water, but last report was some of the critters came right back.

You can even get fancy and 'pad' the thermos the inside of the termos with chaeto ... not sure if it helped or not, but it definately didn't hurt.

Bugz, It's an awesome way to ship... how about we just meet at a meeting to do our own swapping should we get paired up this spring.

You can get thermo's at Walmart, K-mart, Grocery Stores in their kitchen supply isle...basically any department store. We all found ourselves using all sorts of other kitchenware containers depending on what type of frag we were sending. It got real interesting to see what unique ideas everyone was coming up with!
