    Default Growth with LEDs

before and after adding LEDs, also wanted to add that this was with the premium royal blues from reefledlights.com, that way people dont think that all leds are equal.

    Nice!

I found some old pics last week. I'll have to post them.... the growth stunned me too. My grreen slimer went from a 2 in frach to a 7 inch tall, multi branched colony in about 6 months. LEDs rock.
Detroit's oldest large LED tank! Est'd Jan 2005, went LED June 2009. 6' wide 130g reef, Sunbrite T10 LED tubes (3xGen 3 and 1xGen 1), mostly SPS, but chalices, other LPS, and a few softies too.

Very nice. That's some great coloration and growth.

One thing I'm curious about... where are the premium RB LEDs on the site? All I saw were XRE or XPG emitters by CREE but nothing that said premium.

    Thanks,
    Tom

I asked him when I made the 29g fixture. only the XP-Es have premium and regular that he carries. I am going to be redoing the 120g fixture if I get a bigger tank and using XP-Es instead of XR-Es. The XP-Es are newer and more efficient and the XR-Es just have some optic choices that the XP-Es dont.

happy to help, its nice to use the stuff I learned to help others.
